Crop Circles
Orion Series 2020
These prints are based on the phenomena of crop circles. These strange formations occur in the British countryside, particularly in the Wiltshire area. We took elements from them and recomposed it with sacred geometry to arrive at a new visual language. We have named these the ‘Orion Series’ attributed to a mighty constellation in the sky, observed and highly revered by mathematical geniuses, the pyramid builders. This project was conceived in our paper cutting workshops at the Bankside Hotel residency. This work developed further and is now these new compositions we have for sale.
