Fragility of Existence
Pauls work vacillates between reality and its virtual origins. This work originates entirely from a computer, but the social observations are real. This current body of work parallels the ideas of the Russian constructivists, but the philosophy of social scientific progress is lost. Only the notion of despair and destruction expresses itself through the architecture. Here we find the end of the ‘Metanarrative’ and the beginning of the age of uncertainty. Social upheaval and environmental disasters expose the fragility of existence and our dwellings.Title: Assassin’s Temple
