Masonic Priestess

This is an ongoing series of photomontages. A collage constructed from photographs, illustrations and other found images. We intend to create what we call a 'Spiritual Kitbash', making an assemblage from religious/spiritual cultures and archetypal forms. The result is these magical surrealist images.

The imagery is composed of photographs taken of our artworks and costumes as well as some found imagery. This artwork is inspired by occult and mysticism. Here we have mixed primitivism with Masonic regalia. Her face is hidden behind an art piece so that she can remain a mystery.
